    The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is the primary law enforcement agency for the citizen's of Montgomery County Kentucky.  We provide full time law enforcement services to approximately 27,000 citizens and countless visitors of this great county.  This office employees 18 sworn deputies, 2 canines, 1 certified court security officer, and 2 administrative assistants.   
    This office has the task of patrolling the roadways of Montgomery County 24 hours a day 7 days a week as well as providing security for District and Circuit Courts.  Our office averages approximately 15,000 calls for service and  executes approximately 2500+ civil and criminal processes per year.  We are also responsible for transporting prisoners from all across the United States to appear before the Montgomery County Court System.

     All sworn deputies have met the requirements set forth by the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council to meet the Police Officer Professional Standards and have completed the law enforcement academy at the Department of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond Kentucky.
